ORDINANCE NO. 98-025 AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH A JOINT PLANNING COMMISSION AND TO REORGANIZE THE JOINT BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS WHEREAS, municipalities and a county are authorized by S.C. Code 1976, § 6-29-320 to establish by ordinance a joint planning commission; and WHEREAS, municipalities and a county are authorized by S.C. Code 1976, § 6-29-780 to establish a joint board of zoning appeals; and WHEREAS, the City of Greenwood, the County of Greenwood, the Town of Ware Shoals, the Town of Ninety Six, and the Town of Troy desire to create a joint Planning Commission and a joint Board of Zoning Appeals. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Greenwood, South Carolina, as follows: |
